This class is extremely benificial in early childhood development, as it teaches coordination, balance, strength, and how to follow directions. Preschool Level, "Twinkle Stars:" For ages 3 - 5. This is an introduction to the most basic terminology, and body positions needed for gymnastics. We also make sure our students know their colors, how to count, sometimes perform routines with musical songs to improve rhythm & complete obstacle courses & circuits, to teach them how to complete tasks in sequences, and sharpen memory. Some skills, mostly fun, and socially rewarding! This class teaches coordination, balance, focus, and discipline as well as fellowship with others. Beginner Classes "Red Stars": For age 5 & up, basic gymnastics technique and terminology is offered. The main objective of a beginning student is to build upper body strength, gain flexibility, and to master basic skills such as the cartwheel, handstand and bridge.
